Suomi.fi maps
Suomi.fi maps is a part of Finnish e-services for public sector organisations. With Suomi.fi maps municipalities and other public sector organisations can create and publish embedded maps to their own web sites for either internal or public use.
The service is quite old and was previously known as Hallinnon karttapalvelu ("The Map Service for Administration"). The service is provided by the National Land Survey of Finland and developed together with the Population Register Centre in Finland.
How is Oskari used?
Suomi.fi maps provides most of the Oskari core possibilities. The service aims to provide a way for smaller municipalities and public sector organisations to create and publish map services or embeds to use, for example, in their own websites. Most use a simple embedded map yet it possible to create also more complicated map publications.
The service includes ready-to-use tools for simple web maps and a variety of geospatial datasets including topographic maps and background maps. A wide range of geospatial datasets produced by other public authorities are also available at the service. The users can also add their own datasets.
The service is not open to the public but requires an agreement with the National Land Survey of Finland. The map publications made from the service, on the other hand, can be open to anyone.

Suomi.fi maps service is available for Finnish public sector organisations and actors performing official public regulatory roles.
The users of Suomi.fi maps include the workers of Finnish municipalities, regional councils, governmental organisations, wellbeing services counties etc. The service can be used free of charge.
