HSY (Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority) provides municipal water supply and waste management services as well as information on the area.
HSY map service provides information about Helsinki metropolitan area and the environment.
How is Oskari used?
The public Oskari map service contains all the openly available datasets HSY provides. The end user can view and also download the data using Oskari's download basket functionality. No registeration or sign-in is required from the user.
HSY uses Oskari to manage and navigate, for example, where the different waste component areas are in landfills. They edit and maintain different map layers based on drone images from the area or editing the features in the field.
